Engineer-specified effluent storage and treatment tanks for industrial wastewater, food processing and mining discharge.
Industrial Plastics fabricates custom effluent tanks in HDPE (PE100), polypropylene (PP-H) and PVDF for raw effluent collection, pH adjustment, equalisation, settling and treated-discharge buffer storage. Material selected against your effluent stream — pH range, chloride load, temperature, abrasive solids and trace contaminants.
Brisbane workshop, since 1971. ISO 9001:2015 certified by SGS. Tanks designed to DVS 2205 and welded to DVS 2207 by qualified welders. From 2,000 L.
Standard configurations
Equalisation tanks
Buffer-volume sizing for variable feed streams. Internal baffles. Mixer mountings. Above- or below-grade.
pH adjustment
Caustic and acid dosing tank set with pH-controlled mixing. PE100 or PP-H depending on temperature.
Settling & clarifier feed
Lamella, sludge-collection sumps, conical-bottom geometries. Wear-rated bottoms for abrasive solids.
Treated buffer / discharge
Holding tanks for water quality verification before licensed discharge. AS/NZS 4020 where reused as process water.
Standards we build to
Compliance
- DVS 2205 — thermoplastic tank design (German engineering standard)
- AS/NZS 4766 — polyethylene storage tanks
- AS/NZS 4129/4130/4131 — polyethylene pipe and fittings
- AS/NZS 4929 — abrasion-resistant PE for solids-bearing streams (where specified)
- DVS 2207 — PE, PP and PVDF weld procedures
- EPA discharge licence and trade-waste consent compatibility
Sectors we serve
