Chutes and Launder Differences

Launders are plastic holding containers used predominately within the mining industry. The containers move effluent, slurry or other chemical products from one point to another. Chutes are plastic channels that also move slurries and materials but is instead transported from one elevation to another. Both chutes and launders are both fabricated with HDPE plastic and have high abrasion qualities. Launders are most common as it is a more efficient alternative to piping in mineral processing equipment, where chemicals and materials inhibit the use of pipework.
