Fresh Water Boat Tanks
Industrial Plastics recently completed the fabrication of two boat water tanks. Each boat water tank was 2.1m x 0.76m x 0.76m (sloped) and made with 20mm thick High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). The project required 2m head pressuring testing, hydrostatic pressure testing and certification. The tanks were delivered to the happy customer who noted “They look like works of art”. The twin HDPE tanks were designed and manufactured for a new Fleming cruising yacht, the Fleming 85. We worked closely with the customer to ensure the right specification, product application and material finish was met.
